A Christmas Winter Song starring Stan Shaw, Ashanti and Sashani Nichole Ratings Winner for Lifetime

The ratings are in, and according to That Grape Juice, A Christmas Winter Song was a major success for Lifetime. The Christmas film, starring Grammy winner Ashanti, Stan Shaw, and Sashani Nichole, drew in an impressive 1.08 million viewers on opening night, surpassing much of the competition.

The movie’s December 14th premiere commanded a slightly larger audience than Kelly Rowland’s Merry Liddle Christmas, which ranked #19. Despite fierce competition from sports and news, A Christmas Winter Song landed at #33 for the evening but hit a high note by ranking #2 among scripted programs during its viewership hour.

Directed by Camille Brown and written by Melissa Bustamante, the film also earned an impressive #8 spot among all prime-time telecasts that night.
